Fundraising Coordinator - 2026 (08 Apr 2026)

Do you like organizing fundraisers? Perhaps you have some experience with parent councils, scouts, or sports leagues that do a lot of fundraisers? Then we could use your help! We are looking for someone to coordinate some fundraising events for Fairfields so we can raise money for some upcoming large expenses for the pool.

This position can be shared or split and is a great way to get your volunteer hours and credits!

What you would be doing:

Help organize fundraising ideas already developed by the board (and add some of your own if you want!)

Assist in selecting and planning a few key initiatives

Coordinate execution with the social media and events teams, and event day volunteers

Help keep timelines and tasks on track

What this might include:

Supporting one to two fundraising events (depending on size)

Helping run one raffle-style campaign

Assisting with pool merchandise sales

Good fit if you:

Like organizing projects or keeping things moving

Enjoy collaboration, planning and coordination

Support provided:
Ideas and board guidance are already in place — you won’t be starting from scratch.

Estimated commitment:
Flexible; heavier during active campaigns. Attendance at at least one board meeting would be helpful.

Are you friendly and outgoing? Do you like to build rapport and make connections? This will be the perfect position for you!

We are looking for someone to market and coordinate some sponsorship for Fairfields so we can continue to run our beloved pool.

This position can be shared or split and is a great way to get your volunteer hours and credits!

Sponsorship Coordinator

What you would be doing:

Market an existing sponsorship package (already created!)

Help develop a simple outreach plan (eg. email or pamphlet drop-offs)

Manage enquiries and contracts with potential sponsors

Track outreach and contracts using a prepared spreadsheet

Good fit if you:

Are comfortable sending emails or making introductions

Like building community connections

Prefer structured tasks with clear tools

Support provided:
Templates, sponsorship materials, and tracking tools are ready to use. Regular support and feedback from board members.

Estimated commitment:
Light and flexible; mostly outreach-based.

Hedge Trimming in Pool Area (05 Jul 2026)

We are looking for a volunteer who can dedicate some of their time to trimming the hedges that are along the fence by the deep end and waiting pool. This can be done when the pool is open. You will need to bring your own clippers.
