Volunteering at Fairfields - NEW system for 2026!

Fairfields Swimming Club is administered by a volunteer board of directors and relies heavily on its volunteer program to plan social events and help maintain the pool property. Fairfields Volunteer Program was created to maintain our Club's community atmosphere and facilities, and to help keep our expenses at a minimum.   

Starting in 2026, each membership is required to complete tasks worth 8 points per season to avoid payment of the $250 volunteer fee. 

Points are assigned to tasks based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, time required for completion, skills required, etc. The points assigned to each task will be visible when registering. 

Some examples of how you can earn the points:

• 2 points for grass cutting
• 1 point for setting up/cleaning up at social events

If volunteer points are not completed and reported the family is responsible for a fee of $250.00. If your family chooses not to participate in our volunteer program you can include a $250.00 fee with your annual fees (non-refundable).

Volunteer points may be accumulated by all persons 16+ and any persons 12+ who are directly supervised by a responsible person 16+.

All members are encouraged to participate in the volunteer program and other special events. It’s is a great way to get to know other members at the pool.
